Sarah Chung
Sarah was born legally blind with Bilateral Optic Nerve Hypoplasia. Originally from the Chicagoland area, she graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. Shortly after, she worked as a job readiness program coordinator at Horizons for the Blind in Crystal Lake, IL
Theresa Kane, Ph.D.
Theresa joined Polus Center for Social and Economic Development, Inc. as Chief Operating Officer in 2005, having served on the Polus Center Board of Directors since 1998. Theresa was previously the Executive Director of the Academy of Professional Skills Development, a consulting firm specializing in capacity building and leadership development for non-profit organizations and worldwide corporations. She holds a Certificate in Non-Profit Administration from Suffolk University, a Ph.D.
Michael Lundquist
Michael Lundquist holds a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in Education, Bridgewater State University and a Master of Education, Cambridge College with a concentration in administration and management. Michael has worked for more than 35 years in community-based human services and developed the Polus Center’s international programs. He has published articles on community-based rehabilitation in the Journal of Mine Action and O& P World and presented at the World Bank, U.S.
