Polus appreciates the support and partnerships with numerous state agencies, foundations, corporate and individual donors, including the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind (MCB), the Commonwealth Corporation, the Readers’ Digest Partners for Sight Foundation, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Institute, Boston Center for Blind Children, Mass Humanities, Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC), Massachusetts Life Science Center, Nonotuck, Florida Department of Education, New York State Commission for the Blind, Worcester Public Schools, the Sarah Coizert Foundation, the Barre Savings Bank Foundation, and the Avidia Bank Foundation. We partner closely with the MassHire Workforce Boards, Thryv Consulting, Darcy Elks Consulting and many other subject matter experts to provide our job-driven training programs. The Polus Center’s international programs have traditionally been funded through various public institutions, both U.S. and international, private foundations, and individual donors. Major support has come from the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, and The Office of Weapons Removal and Abatement in the U.S. State Department's Bureau of Political-Military Affairs (PM/WRA).
