Elizabeth Myska

Attorney

Elizabeth (Liz) Myska is a lawyer who specializes in Elder Law and Estate Planning. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a BA in History and Political Science, then completed her JD degree at Suffolk University. For 10 years, she worked as a real estate attorney representing buyers and sellers. At that point, she was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa and began to advocate for the visually impaired community. Based out of Worcester Massachusetts and active on the city’s Accessibility and Access committee, she’s passionate about having sighted people understand what it is like to be visually impaired.

VISIONS Consulting L3C

In 2016, Liz founded VISIONS Consulting, which provides hands-on workshops for a variety of audiences, including legislators, business owners, and other consultants. These workshops teach their participants how to engage with visually impaired clients, coworkers, or customers. They dispel myths, place an emphasis on other senses, create a dialog about what works, and explore strategies for including the visually impaired rather than segregating them. Learn more about VISIONS here.

Liz hosts a long-running show on WCCA-TV titled Connecting the Dots where she interviews professionals about their work and acts as a legal advisor for problem solving. Find the full series here.
