Our Access to the Arts program provides the opportunity for teens and seniors to attend audio-described theater performances at no cost.
Last February, a group attended the Hamilton musical, and future opportunities will be available in the winter of 2024.
We also partnered with Precious Perez, a blind musician who has set out "to be the first blind reggetonera in the Latin music industry, breaking the mold." As president of Recording Artists and Music Professionals with Disabilities (RAMPD), she actively works to make space for people with disabilities in the music industry. As a part of our program, Precious spent two days with the Roadmap to College students, teaching them how to write music.
This program was made possible by generous donations from the Barre Savings Bank Charitable Foundation.
