Polus Center Receives Healey-Driscoll Grant for Clean Energy Jobs Project

Recently, through the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, the Healey-Driscoll administration awarded $27 million in grants to grow the clean energy sector across the state.

Included was a $40,000 grant to the Polus Center for our Clean Energy Jobs Project, which combines virtual instruction and in-person trips to introduce young adults aged 18-24 to career pathways in clean energy. In collaboration with MassHire North Central Workforce Board and MassHire Franklin Hampshire Workforce Board, this program will provide individualized career support alongside the 8-week curriculum. Funds will be used to refine course material and secure employer partnerships.

We greatly appreciate the Healey-Driscoll administration's support in making this program a reality!
