The Polus Center would like to thank the U.S. State Department's Bureau of Political-Military Affairs/Office of Weapons Removal & Abatement (PM/WRA). It is through many years of partnership and support that we provide these life changing services to war wounded Syrian refugee children and their families.
The Find A Better Way Foundation and Sir Bobby Charlton have furthered the campaign of healing & hope by partnering with Polus Center and ADT (Asia Development Training) to open a new facility in Amman, Jordan. The Sir Bobby Charlton Centre for Support & Rehabilitation opened it's doors in August 2017, building national capacity and providing a permanent home for the prosthetics rehabilitation and psychological trauma care programs for injured Syrian Children and their families.
Many thanks to the Dorothea Haus Ross Foundation who stepped in to support the 'Wings of Peace" initiative. This innovative expressive therapy program was established specifically to address the psychological traumas experienced by children caught in the crossfire of war.
Thanks to Dean Cycon of Deans Beans for his incredible generosity and unwavering support of the Polus Center throughout the years.
