Polus Shared Living started in the Boston area, with Roberta and Carlos (right) one of the first to begin sharing their lives together more than 15 years ago. The Greater Boston Community Network, was newly formed in 2006 when Program Director Marc Jean-Jacques and Assistant Program Director merged the shared living program known as Indigo with the community support services they were providing under the name Commonwealth Business Associates. Today GBCN supports 12 people in shared living households and 9 people in the community.
